Christmas time

It's that time of year... Time to order you're Christmas cards. I'm super excited this year. We did a mini session with Bluegenes and got some AMAZING pictures and I can't wait to share them with all my family and friends by sending them Christmas cards. I know some of y'all don't send Christmas cards and I love to receive them so u always send them. I'm going to order this year from Shutterfly and they have so many options to choose from and they are all so cute. Right now my favorite is "Have yourself a merry little Christmas". I love how you can choose to just use one picture or with many of the cards, you can choose up to 5 pictures. What a great way to show off those wonderful individual shots of the kids. I want to hear from y'all, are you going to send Christmas cards or not? Enjoy these links...

update

I haven't posted in a while. My children just keep me so busy. We've celebrated Colton's 1st Bday which was a hit! Jordyn played her first season of sports-tball and she loved it. We just celebrated her 6th bday. My family has also been hit by tradgey as well. A very close family friend died after a stroke, and most heartbreaking, My sister lost her baby at 36 weeks. My heart is so broken for her. I hosted a wonderful baby shower on June 6 and then she went to the dr for a regularly scheduled visit and they were unable to find a heartbeat. She had a csection that afternoon. Sweet baby Mackenzie was born sleeping at 36 weeks, she was such a beautiful angel. She weighed 4 lbs 13 oz and was 20 inches long. This was my sister and bro in law's first child. I cant imagine what they are going through. This happened 2 days before Jordyn's birthday. I took her to the hospital to let her see baby Mackenzie since she was old enough to know what was going on for the last 8 months and I explained to her that she was born sleeping and that she was already in heaven, that she just looks like a baby doll and she did. Jordyn cried and said that the only thing she wanted for her birthday was for Mackenzie to be alive and breathing. I felt so helpless. I wish more than anything that I could give that to my daughter and my sister. I had a miscarriage Nov of 2007 at 10 weeks and I was so upset but that pales in comparison to a loss at 36 weeks. We had a beautiful service for her and buried her in a private country cemetery and when we went to go add flowers last night we couldn't help but notice all the fireflies out there. It was just perfect. Please remember my sister and her husband in your prayers tonight and for a while. This is something that they are never going to forget. Some days will be better than others. We're going to celebrate Jordyn and Cayden's birthdays this weekend. Ohh And I almost forgot, I got a new car. Its a 2008 Ford Expedition xlt. Its so nice. The End. lol

let it snow...well ice

Well we got our second "snow" of the year. It is more like ice. I think we would be enjoying it more if we didn't have a sick baby. Colton has been sick for the past 3 days and the doctor doesn't know why. He's been running a fever and was just sleeping WAY too much. So Thursday I took him to the dr and she took pricked his finger and swabbed for the flu and that came back negative (huge relief) but his CBC came back very high meaning he has an infection. His ears looked like an infection could be brewing but not infected yet. The dr was concerned about possibly pnuemonia but he hasn't been coughing that much. So the dr decided to give him a rocephin shot and for us to come back the next day. Well Friday comes and that's the day that all the bad weather started. We headed doen to the dr and his CBC was about the same as the day before so my poor baby got another rocephin shot and some amoxicillan to start today. I hate not knowing what is wrong. He's still got fever but I know he feels better. He was started to get dehydrated on Thursday/Friday. He wouldn't nurse at all and wouldn't eat his food, just drink apple juice with his sippy cup. The good news is, we've started to wean. I figured this would be a good time. As of Saturday afternoon, he still has fever and still is congested. I know he's feeling better cuz he's playing with his sister. He's been so sweet while he's been sick, loving on me and giving lots of kisses. Anyways....Friday night the winter storm hit us and took our power out for about 6 hours, mostly through the night but still we were worried about getting too cold but we survived. Several tree branches didn't though, one even fell on the roof. We didn't have any damage just a mess to clean up, Thank God. One of our good friends came over this morning to help Russ clear everything up and they end let me play with the chain saw (well cut with it lol). enjoy the pictures and I hope yall managed to stay warm.
